More Halloween Issues

Apparently I am not the only one who has been agonizing about whether or not to poison the neighborhood children with sugar this Halloween. Columnist Brian Cormier also has it on his mind...

"It's a little-known fact that this is also National Dentists Buy Expensive Cars Week across North America. Wherever children go door to door, dentists will be cackling with glee and their receptionists getting to work extra early tomorrow in order to deal with all those calls from moms and dads (probably mostly dads)."

Please stop by and check out the rest of his blog post. It's a great laugh :D

LOL I loved this. I too am struggling with Halloween this year. We thought about doing dollar store type items but couldn't find anything locally that would not cost an arm and a leg. We eventually settled for small bags of potato chips and small packets of Trident Gum. I figured they were the lesser of all evils and at least won't cause any cavities and the kids won't hate me as much LOL

I found sugar-free Double Bubble gum at Walmart. I bought a couple of bags, but we usually get a good crowd in my neighborhood so I need more. A lot of the sugar-free candies I found use Isomalt, a rather evil sugar alcohol.
